Over 900 new houses could possibly be coming to Pittsboro after a big tract of land was just lately rezoned.
Throughout its Feb. 27 assembly, the Pittsboro Board of Commissioners accredited a rezoning request for 147.27 acres. The land sits alongside Russet Run, not removed from the intersection of U.S. Freeway 64 and U.S. Freeway 15-501.
